Kavita Dress

The Kavita dress is made from cotton and was handwoven with the traditional dhaka pattern, which originated in eastern Nepal by the indigenous Limbu people. We sourced the material from a family owned and runned shop in Asan Bazaar, Kathmandu who work directly with a team of weavers in Taplejung and designed this detailed, classy Kavita (meaning poem in Nepali) dress, and a small team of women seamstresses in the city brought the vision to life.
